“My name is Abdur Rahim, son of Saidul Haque, and I live in Sadhapur, Bongaon, Savar. I have 5 family members, and for a long time, I was the only earning person for my family. Life was incredibly hard, and we struggled every day to meet our basic needs. Providing food, clothing, and education for my children felt like an impossible task.

During those difficult times, SAWAB Foundation stepped in and gave me the opportunity to change my life. They provided me with resources and initial goods to start a small grocery shop. At the same time, my wife began contributing by starting home gardening and chicken rearing, growing vegetables and raising chickens to add food and income to our household.

It wasn’t easy—we worked tirelessly, day after day. But after two years of struggle, our hard work began to pay off. My grocery shop started to grow, bringing in a steady income, and my wife’s efforts in gardening and chicken rearing helped reduce our food costs while earning a little extra from selling eggs and vegetables.

🌱 Today, my life has changed. After two years of dedication and perseverance, I can proudly say that I am now financially improved. My family no longer struggles to survive. We have enough food, my children can go to school, and we live with dignity and hope for a brighter future.
